Stratus is one of the awesome works of Italian Valentina Carretta, freelance designer working in collaboration also with Fabrica Design Department (Benetton’s communication research centre). In occasion of L’Amphore exhibition at Granville Gallery in Paris, Valentina Carretta created Stratus, a vase that starts right from the ancestral amphora shape. The medium, historically used to transport the liquids, is here reinterpreted maintaining a sort of material stratification, with three different elements, bardiglio marble, white ceramic and terracotta. The three different components that result are like modulus that can be combined to generate different objects for different functions.
